LG Q6 pricing and availability confirmed for South Korea

LG, recently, introduced a new “series” of a smartphone with three new devices added; namely – Q6, Q6+, and Q6a. At the time of announced, the company had confirmed that these devices would first be available in  Asia followed by Europe, Latin America, and North America.

Finally, the company has confirmed the availability of LG Q6 for home country South Korea by revealing its actual price. The device will be available starting from August 2nd, priced at 419,100 Korean Won (Estimated Rs. 23,000 or US$ 375) across the country.

Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics, said: “The LG Q6 delivers the key features of our flagship smartphones at an exceptional price that will appeal to young consumers world over”. So, we can expect it will be available globally soon in the major markets in Asia, Europe, Middle East and the Americas.

To recall, The LG Q6 features 5.5 inches FHD+ FullVision display, Snapdragon 435 processor, 3000 mAh battery, 3GB RAM + 32GB storage, Android 7.1.1 OS and 13MP + 5MP rear and front cameras. The notable part of the device is that it comes with ultra-strong 7000 series aluminum frame and has a unibody design. Moreover, the company claims, It has passed through MIL-STD 810G certification use by the United States military, similar can be found on Samsung’s rugged smartphones.

All in all, the device is mainly focused on its highly durable body to provide you a strong smartphone to use in extreme conditions. Compare to Samsung’s rugged smartphones, LG Q6 looks more attractive and beautiful, but comparatively weak internals.
