Samsung’s smartphone share in Chinese market declined, approximated at just 3 percent

In recent years,  Chinese electronic industry has passed through the several ups and downs. But momentarily Chinese companies are growing like hell, and their sales have been increased in several parts of the world, especially in India and hometown China. The latest data from Counterpoint Research reveals that Samsung has lost its fame in China as it is holding estimate only 3 percent market shares for the second quarter of this year which was earlier 7 percent.

On the other side, Samsung’s archrival Apple has managed to get 8.2 percent market shares with slight fall from last year’s 8.5 percent. All in All, Apple is the only outsider who is endeavoring some competition among the local Chinese brands.

According to the revealed data, The Local Chinese smartphone manufacturers were combined sharing 87% market shares of the country’s smartphones demand. Huawei and Vivo were the fastest growing brands in China during the second quarter followed by Oppo and Xiaomi, Even, These top four Chinese brands are sharing of 69% market shares.

There is no doubt China is the market leader when it comes to producing electronic components; Now they are precisely dominating the smartphones business in the home country. Therefore, Still, Samsung is doing a decent job in other markets and competing with Apple single handily.
